I Wish-A-Fish Wood: Life Skills
Big Bear Marina 500 Paine Ct, Big Bear, CA, United States10 eligible youth (1 & 2 or 3 & 4) who are currently 11 to 13 years old will be invited to sign-up for the Thermal site / San Jacinto Site FPS Youth Department I Wish -A- Fish Wood: Life Skills. The event will be held on September 28th 2024 / 9:30am - 2:30am Big Bear Marina, 500 Paine Ct, Big Bear Lake, CA 92315. FPS Staff and Leaders from the Organization We Can Fish and Youth with a 504/ IEP plan will be paired with FPS Staff to fish on Big Bear Lake. After fishing lunch will be provided and an award ceremony to follow. Youth attending must have a 504 or IEP Plan. This event will teach life-saving skills and offers mental health wellness tools to enhance the quality of life through the sport of fishing. Fishing equipment and safety equipment will be provided through We Can Fish. FPS Staff will begin pick ups at 7am. Then start transporting home at 2:30 pm and returning to the Thermal Site or San Jacinto by 5pm.
