Scavenger Hunt Challenge

Twenty eligible TMTT Youth (1&2 or 3&4) who are between the ages of 5 to 18 years old. will be invited to sign-up for the Thermal FPS Youth and Child Development & Education Department’s Scavenger Hunt Challenge. Please note: youth participants who are actively participating in Child Development& Education’s STEAM Summer Program, will receive priority registration. If space is still available, sign ups will be accepted in the order they are received. The event will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2026 from 10am to 4pm at the Balboa Park, 1549 El Prado, San Diego, CA. 92101.
Youth Participants will travel with the FPS Youth and Child Development & Education Department for a fun-filled day at Balboa Park, San Diego. Youth will be assigned to age appropriate teams, supervised by TANF Staff, and challenged to compete against other teams to solve various riddles to find hidden treasure. This event will promote both physical and mental exercise; while also promoting teamwork and exploration in nature.
