Life Skills: Aiding Baiting at Lake Cahuilla

12 Eligible TANF Youth (1 & 2 or 3 & 4) who are currently 9 to 13 years old will be invited to sign-up for the Thermal site. FPS Youth Department : Life Skills: Aiding Baiting at Lake Cahuilla The event will be held on October 25th, 2025 – 9:30am to 2:30am. 58075 Jefferson St, La Quinta, CA 92253 FPS Staff and Leaders from the Organization We Can Fish and Youth with a 504/ IEP plan will be paired with FPS Staff to fish at Lake Cahuilla. After fishing lunch will be provided and an award ceremony to follow. Youth attending must have a 504 or IEP Plan. This event will teach life-saving skills and offers mental health wellness tools to enhance the quality of life through the sport of fishing. Fishing equipment and safety equipment will be provided through We Can Fish. FPS Staff will begin pick ups at 7am. Then start transporting home at 2:30pm and returning Thermal Site by 5pm
