Jr. Ranger Expo
Torres Martinez Tribal TANF Youth Participants 6th -12th grade (San Jacinto site), will learn about the wonder of the Indian Canyons located on the Agua Caliente reservation in the Coachella Valley, with their out-door Jr, Ranger Expo educational program. The Indian Canyons Junior Ranger Program allows students to learn about the history and culture of the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians as well as the Desert Landscape, and Wildlife in Palm Springs, Calif.  Â
Out-Door program, Junior Rangers will explore the Canyons on guided tours with Tribal Rangers and provide various activities.  Students will explore the critters that inhabit, the plants that surround and listen to the songs that have echoed throughout these canyons for generations. With Archeological finds/path and hikes, they will encourage creativity, while sparking their inventive imagination of the pass.
