Student Support Appointments

TM TANF Thermal Only Youth (1&2 or 3&4) who will be entering 6th through 12th grade for the 2024-2025 school year, will be invited to sign-up for Thermal’s FPS Youth Department’s Student Support Appointments. The event will be held on Tuesdays from 8am to 4pm; beginning July 16, 2024 and end August 20, 2024. The event will be by appointments only and be held at the Thermal TM TANF FPS Building, 66725 Martinez Rd., Thermal, CA. 92274 or Via Zoom.

The event will offer Youth participants the opportunity to create their Personal Responsibility Plan tailored to their own educational needs and goals. By participating, Youth will learn the benefits of planning for their upcoming school year. Such benefits include, thinking about college as an important part of their future; taking challenging and interesting classes for either high school or college; research and attend College tours; develop strong study habits; participate in Tutoring programs offered; become involved in school- or community-based activities that let students explore their interests and learn new things. The event will apply TMTANF Academic standards by promoting Success in Education.
