2024 FAFSA Fundamentals

The financial aid workshop will focus on the basics of financial aid. It will inform clients about the difference between the types of financial aid that are available to them, such as free money, grants, scholarships, and student loans. In addition, students will learn about the various types of educational institutions as well as the steps a student will need to complete to qualify for financial aid. EGC will present the financial aid moduals through a classroom lecture and power point tutorials. Time permitting, EGC will assist clients with completeing FAFSA application or clients can set up an appointment to complete FAFSA at a later time. Students that are interested in post-secondary education are encouraged to attend. depending on availability, EGC will have financial aid workshop facilitated by Mt. San Jacinto Community College financial aid department.
