Under the direction of the Cultural Program Director, plan, organize, coordinate and implement educational programs, series, and speakers for the dissemination of cultural knowledge; conduct cultural research; coordinate, develop, and implement a Native American language program for Tribal members; train and evaluate the performance of assigned personnel.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Any combination equivalent to: bachelor's degree in psychology, sociology, Native American Studies, or
related field and three years increasingly responsible experience in the Native American community.
LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- This position is required to drive and therefore requires possession of a valid California Class C Driver's license and ability to maintain insurability under the Tribe's auto insurance policy throughout employment.
- This position has duties and responsibilities that require regular contact with or control over Indian children and is therefore subject to the background investigative process
to comply with PL 101-630.
