The Cradleboard Teaching Project turns on the lights in public education about Native American culture - past, present, and most important for the children - the Future.

Literacy program that reaches out to Asian Pacific American (APA) and American Indian/Alaska Native (AIAN) children and their families. The program celebrates and explores their stories through books, oral traditions, and art to provide an interactive, enriching experience.

In keeping with the Sequoyah Research Center's purpose of preserving and disseminating the written words of Native peoples, this site provides research materials documenting all aspects of life among American Indians, Alaska Natives, and First Nations of Canada.

The Indigenous Studies Portal (iPortal) connects faculty, students, researchers and members of the community with electronic resources: books, articles, theses, documents, photographs, archival resources, maps, etc.

The D'Arcy McNickle Center for American Indian History was founded in 1972. Its goals are to encourage the use of the Newberry collections on American Indian history; improve the quality of what is written about American Indians; educate teachers about American Indian culture, history, and literature; assist American Indian tribal historians in their research; and provide a meeting ground where scholars, teachers, tribal historians, and others interested in American Indian studies can discuss their work with each other.
