*Temporary Position for 90 Days*
This Position is responsible for the Operation and Maintenance of Heavy equipment own or rented by the tribe. Participate in the operation and maintenance of Tribal Habitat Projects. Clean up of land for the establishment of Tribal Projects. Successful candidate must have knowledge of safety rules and regulations, Must have ability to Work closely with Natural Resources Director in the planning and operation of heavy equipment use in Tribal Projects: Operate diverse equipment for the execution of Tribal Project; Follow and perform basic maintenance for diverse heavy equipment: Perform daily inspections for the equipment under his/her responsibility; attend trainings as requested.
This position requires driving in performance of duties and therefore requires possession of a valid California Class C driver’s license and ability to maintain insurability under the Tribe’s auto insurance policy throughout employment: Expired or current license A for the Operation of Heavy Equipment.
Education and Experience Requirements: GED or High School Education: Minimum Three (3) year of experience in the operations and basic maintenance for Front Loaders Backhoe, Agriculture Tractors and attached equipment.
