Salary Range:  $22.58 - $34.98/hr

The TERO Compliance Officer will have overall responsibility for the administration, direction, management and supervision of the Tribal Employment Rights Office. Must have administrative and organizational skills, including ability to identify and resolve complex matters and disputes. Must be able to preside over meetings with the Tribal Council, TERO Commission, other staff departments, federal agencies, union officials, contractors and others. Must be able to develop and evaluate workshops/training courses/seminars appropriate to TERO procedures, management, implementation and progress. Must be computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word Excel and Outlook. Must have knowledge and efficiency with various office machinery and equipment, including computers, copiers, fax machines etc. Must have knowledge of TERO implementation, contract principles and negotiation skills. Must have some knowledge of construction trades and skills training. Must possess good oral and written communication skills. A.A. in Business or Public Administration and (2) years relevant work experience or Five (5) or more years experience in Tribal Government. Must possess valid CDL and be eligible for authorization by agency’s insurance carrier to operate agency owned vehicle.
